• If you have made a down payment and decide that you cannot get the baby at that time, I will hold your deposit for 6 months if you notify me at LEAST 14 days PRIOR to the go home "ready" date.
• Failure to answer emails about picking up and no-shows automatically forfeit their down payments.
• Your sugar glider will go home in a secure bonding pouch with a sample of the food he/she is currently on. This food should be mixed half and half with what you are going to be using to feed until the sample is gone.
• SECT Exotics is not responsible for lost babies once you've exited our front door. It is not recommended to open bonding pouches until you are inside your home with the doors and windows closed.

A down payment is required to reserve a sugar glider or be placed on our future baby waiting list. Down payments go towards the total purchase price and the remaining balance is due prior, or at pickup. The amount due is dependant on which color choice you have made. Color/sex choice is not guaranteed. If the choice of color/sex you prefer is not available, your down payment will be refunded.

Once a down payment is made, a confirmation email will be sent. In that email you will find a link to book your pickup appointment.

You will be required to fill out a very basic questionaire about how you will care for your glider when you book your pickup appointment.

At pickup you will need to fill out an adoption/no breeding contract.

The balance is required to be paid before or at the time of pick up. Sugar gliders will not be released without payment in full.

Babies cannot be reserved without a down payment.

At pick up I accept cash payments, debit or credit cards (4% service fee applies) and payments through PayPal (4% service fee applies). No checks or money orders are accepted.

All Sugar gliders are sold as pet only. Breeding is prohibited and will be enforced by court order if needed. Our non-breeding contract is binding.

I do not sell opposite sexes to anyone, including you and your friend, brother, sister, roommate, etc. unless the male is neutered before adoption.

Southeastern Connecticut Exotics reserves the right to refuse to sell to anyone at anytime for any reason, even after a down payment has been made.

I do not sell animals to illegal states and counties.

• Southeastern Connecticut Exotics guarantees that any Sugar Glider adopted from us is, to the best of our knowledge, free of disease.
The Buyer agrees to have a wellness exam done by a licensed veterinarian within the first 30 days of bringing the glider home in order to activate the Health Guarantee set forth in the adoption contract.
• Male gliders are required to be neutered, bring proof of vet appointment at pickup.
• There is a 3 month congenital Health Guarantee on the glider.
• S.E.C.T. Exotics will take any glider back at any time, but a refund will not be given. There are no refunds on cage setups or cage accessories.
• If at any time you decide a glider is not the right pet for you or circumstances change, the glider must be returned to us at buyers expense/time. I do make exceptions - if you have already found a wonderful home, for example. Please at least contact me before you rehome your glider, so I can update my records.
• I won't turn down any glider for any reason. If you have a glider that is in need of a home, please contact me.
